Three Hill Tribes' Rooms Burgled - Pattaya People

The Pattaya Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Lt. Col. Satapat Pimkam were called on Sunday, right after midnight, to investigate a theft in a building behind Fairtex Condo Plaza, in Naklua. 3 rented rooms had been broken into at the same time, with many items stolen.

At the location, a 1-storey building with 10 attached rentals, 3 rooms rented by Akha Hill Tribe people had been burgled.   6,000 Baht was stolen from the 1st Room, and a gold ring and a pair of gold earrings were swiped from the 2nd room. Nothing had been taken from the 3rd room, but everything was in disarray. All 3 of the Akha people had left their rooms to sell their souvenirs goods at 3 pm, and returned late at night to find all their rooms had been burgled. The investigations started with the apartment’s tenants, and the officers concluded that probably 3 men used 3 steel bars to break in, and proceeded to steal the Akha people’s property.  The primary suspects were the junkies in the area, and further investigations will continue to locate the stolen goods and bring the criminals to justice.
