Pattaya police was notified on Friday morning by the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Volunteers about the death of an Australian tourist staying at a hotel in Soi Buakhao, South Pattaya. In a room at the Bliss Mansion, they found the body of 60 year old Mr. Maitland Donaldson lying on the bathroom floor. There was no sign of any foul play in the room, and when questioned, the housekeeper, who discovered the body, stated that Mr. Donaldson lived alone suffered from high blood pressure and other ailments that he had to get about using a walking stick. The body was taken away for autopsy and the Australian embassy has been notified.
