Mini Marathon of Mitsubishi Electric Kanyong Wattana Ltd - Pattaya People

 

Early on Sunday morning at the front of Numchai Home Appliances on Sukhumvit, Pattaya’s Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum opened a Walk & Run for Charity under the title “Run For Health”.  The occasion was the 40th Anniversary of Mitsubishi Electric Kanyong Wattana Ltd, and the purpose of the drive was to raise funds to buy open door gym equipment for Pattaya City Hall, for the people of Pattaya to use to get healthy.

Over 2,000 people and associates of Mitsubishi Electric joined the contest. This Run For Health Campaign is being held in 6 provinces, including Phuket, Pisanulok, Surat Thani, Kanjanaburi, Chiang Rai and Pattaya-Chonburi. The marathon offered 2 running categories, the 10 Km Mini-marathon and the 4 Km Walk-Run For Health, and was also divided into many age groups, from 15 – over 50 years old.

The Winner of Mini-marathon was Mr. Uoomyod Git-u-dom, aged 28 from the Baang-koon-tian Running Group, who received a trophy from Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum .  The other winners received many prizes as well, such as MR-18DA fridge, a standing fan, etc.
