Friday Night saw the grand opening of the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2012 which saw thousands converge on Pattaya Beach to enjoy the first of two nights of non-stop firework displays from international teams of pyrotechnic professionals.
Khun Itipon, the Mayor of Pattaya opened the event earlier in the night at the Bali Hai Port, at the south-end of Pattaya Beach where many of the side-events during the two days will be taking place.
This year’s event is on a much smaller scale than previous years with only four teams from Singapore, United States, China and Canada taking part. On Friday night the highlight was an amazing display called
