Pattaya's First Cat Show at Royal Garden Plaza. - Pattaya People

On Saturday afternoon at the Royal Garden Plaza, Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum,  accompanied by the General Manager of the Royal Garden Plaza Mr. Somporn Nark-sue-troeng, opened Pattaya’s first Cat Show. Cat fanciers and owners had the opportunity to view and show off their beauties, and host a competition for their favorite pets.

The Royal Garden Plaza, the Tourism of Thailand-Pattaya Branch and the Cat Lovers Group hosted the show to promote these fancy cat breeds to the public, and extend the adoption of these breeds. The Show and Competition adhered to the usual standards of the Cat Fanciers' Association, and there were also many strange cats from all around the country competing to win awards from Ripley's Believe It Or Not.

There were many more activities for the visitors to enjoy, like the Cat Mimicking Contest, where the person who could meow most like a cat would win 10,000 Baht, Free Cats for the people to adopt, and physical checkups, vasectomies and vaccinations for the felines.

This Cat Show and Competition started on Saturday and ended on Sunday, giving both the kitties and their masters a chance to be in the show and visit Pattaya’s attractions together.
