Card Gamblers Nabbed While Watching Soap Opera - Pattaya People

On Monday night, Pattaya Police Deputy Suppression Inspector Pol. Lt. Pallop Ring-rod received a report of a group of card gamblers playing in a rented room, near Rock Sound Music Store, on Tepprasit Road. A team of police approached the scene and found 7 women gamblers having fun while watching a famous soap opera on Channel 3, as it was the last show in the series. As the series hotted up, the card game also hotted up, causing the ladies to forgot to look over each others’ shoulders, causing the gals to be apprehended by the police with evidence of a set of cards, a table cloth and cash. 4 of them pleaded guilty to gambling, but 3 said they were there just to watch the series. However, just being in the vicinity of gambling led them to being charged with associating with the gamblers, therefore, all 7 offenders were taken for legal proceedings to the Pattaya Police Station.
