Early on Monday Morning an armed robbery took place at a Family Mart Convenience Store in the Northern outskirts of Pattaya where 4,000 Baht in cash and a 50 Baht mobile phone top-up card were stolen.
Police were called to the store by a very shaken Khun Anchalee aged 21 who was on duty when a man, wearing a safety helmet, entered the store and asked to purchase the top-up card. He then produced a gun and pointed it at Khun Anchalee who was forced to hand-over cash inside the register totaling 4,000 Baht.
The shop has good CCTV coverage which was analyzed by Police. Despite a good image of the suspects face on the camera covering the main counter area, he remains at-large for now.
