Artists Compete at Big C North - Pattaya People

 

On Saturday, Central Center Pattaya, AKA Big C North, hosted a painting competition with the theme “Pattaya Beach Loves Dolphins” to win a trophy donated by HRH Princess Somsawalee. The contest was officially opened by Khun Ittipol Khunploemand Khun Pai-rot Boon-jan, the General Manager of the Center, who gave a report and welcoming speeches.

The purpose of the activity was to celebrate the 85the birthday of the King, as well as Thai Environment Day on 4 December. The royal words of the King request the attention of both government and private sectors to solve the environmental problems,  and indeed, this is held to be duty of everyone. The artwork will also make Pattaya more lively and beautiful.

The theme of dolphin was used because dolphins are a lucky symbol for tourism in Pattaya, and the contest also to encouraged the youngsters to imagine what the future may look like.
