On Saturday, Surasak Firemen were called to deal with a conflagration at the rented room of a construction worker, where the fire was starting to spread to the adjacent rooms. One Fire Truck raced to the scene, and the firefighters took about 15 minutes to put out the fire. The mishap occurred in a room on the ground floor, and from the preliminary investigation, the firefighters deemed that the fire was caused by a short circuit, as the owner had left many electric appliances plugged into the sockets. The estimate for the damage was about 30,000 baht, as many clothes, raw rice and even a TV were burnt and damaged.
