Drunken Man Nearly Loses Fingers - Pattaya People

On Tuesday night, the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team was called for assistance with an accident at a house on Soi Mabyailia 28.  A drunken male construction worker, Mr. Luean Wichaiwong, aged 40, had been playing with firecrackers when one accidently exploded and tore up his left hand. When the rescuers arrived, his left hand and 4 fingers were bloody, with open wounds. The rescuers immediately took Leuan to Banglamung Hopsital for proper treatment. Eye-witnesses stated that Leuan was drunk, and started playing with a firecracker called the “Firecracker ball”. Trying to amuse and tease his friends, the clueless fellow kept lighting a small cracker, the size of a big grape, and tossing it up in the air to explode. But the wick was only 3 cm long, and the mishap occurred when Luean did not toss it in time, and the cracker exploded right in his hand.
