A 46 year old terminally ill patient is reported to have jumped to his death from a 4th floor window in the newly opened in-patient building at Banglamung Hospital. Just after 3.30am on Wednesday Police were called to the Hospital and inspected the body of Khun Suchart, who medical staff reported had attempted suicide on numerous occasions and had been tied to his bed for the last week due to his deteriorating mental condition. On 12th October Khun Suchart was admitted after he had slit his neck at his family home. Earlier this year he had been diagnosed as HIV
