Drug Addict Trashes Chief's House - Pattaya People

On Wednesday at 2:30 am, the Banglamung Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Sub Lt. Manoet Tipawate were called by the head of Moo 2 Village in the Nongplalai Sub-district Mr. Gamon Jiwsahn. He called to report that his house had been invaded, and part of his home had been destroyed by a drug addict, who was finally apprehended by a group of locals.

A gazebo in front of the Chief’s house was destroyed, the planters were trashed, and roof tiles also smashed.

The male offender, identified as Mr. Chalermpon Gitjarern, aged 25, was injured by his foolishness as well. He pleaded guilty to climbing up the gazebo roof and destroying the planters and roof tiles, claiming that he really needed his drugs but could not afford to buy any. His drug withdrawal drove him crazy, to the point that he fell off the roof and injured himself.

Another neighbor of Chief Gamon, Mr. Sompid Gantasa, aged 40, residing about 50 meters from the gazebo, stated that the noises woke him up. Looking outside, he saw Chalermpon climbing over his back wall. When Sompid shouted at him, Chalermpon jumped off the wall and ran over to the Chief’s house, where he climbed up the Chief’s gazebo. Chalermpon was sent for legal proceedings starting with a urine test at Banglamung Police Station.
