Purse Snatcher Caught in the Act - Pattaya People

On Tuesday at 2: 10 am, the Pattaya Police Superintendent Pol. Col. Tammanoon Maankoeng received a report of a purse snatching in Soi Pattaya Park. The suspect had already been apprehended by the people.

The police and Pattaya Civilian Volunteers or as called Or. Bor. Por. Ror. were sent to investigate. At the scene, in front of a tattoo shop, the people had apprehended Mr. Jongrak Seesit, aged 34 from Nakhon-sawan province. The thief had been detained with a white purse containing 600 baht, a digital camera, a Samsung mobile and the documents of Mrs. Krylova Svetlana, aged 27 from Russia.  She and her husband Anton, aged 25, identified Jongrak and the black-pink Yamaha Fino motorcycle he used in the snatching.

Jongrak pleaded guilty of snatching this purse, claiming that he has been in debt  for a long time, even though he works for a printing shop on Tepprasit Road. He tried to snatch the purse when thought he had a chance, but Mrs. Svetlana struggled and fought back, which made his motorcycle fall over. Then the local people apprehended him, and he is now off to face prosecution for his folly.
