The medical team from Samitiwaje Sriracha hospital was called out on Monday evening to assist in an emergency incident. The emergency was that of a young mother who had just given birth to a baby in the back of a pickup truck. The 19 year old was on her way to hospital to give birth, but it was too late as the happy occasion took place on the road from Bangpra. Both mother and child were given immediate treatment and then, together with the happy father, were taken to the hospital for proper care.
