Depressed Patient Ends his Life - Pattaya People

On Wednesday at 3 am, the Banglamung Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Sub Lt. Anupong Puangpee were called by Banglamung medics to investigate the death of a male patient, Chuchart Boonsomtoeb, aged 46. He was discovered dead in a bushy area on the ground, close to the patient wards, with multiple fractures to his arms and legs and a great deal of blood on the ground.

The police examined the body and found no signs of foul play. The medical team stated that Chuchart jumped from the fourth floor, where his bed was situated. The unfortunate man had suffered from depression since the beginning of October, and tried to commit suicide by cutting his own throat. That time, someone rescued him, and he was sent to Chonburi Provincial Hospital until he started to recover. He was then sent back to Banglamung Hospital to complete his recovery. No one ever expected that Chuchart would be able to commit suicide, as he has been tied to his bed by the request of his family, but somehow, he managed to free himself and jumped from the 4th floor around 2 am, when a security guard discovered his body.
