Drunken Woman Crashes Car into Lamppost - Pattaya People

Banglamung police were notified by the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team on Monday evening that a car had crashed into a lamppost on Sukhumvit Road near the Kratinglai bridge intersection.  At the scene, officers found the turned over Nissan sedan in the centre isle of the highway, with its female driver stuck inside behind the wheel.  The driver, 36 year old Miss Piyawadee was in a very drunken state and verbally abused her rescuers as they tried to pull her out of the vehicle.   Witnesses were gathered who stated they saw the woman driving at high speed, losing control and hitting the pole before turning over and landing in the centre isle. She was taken to Banglamung hospital and will be questioned and no doubt charged with drunk driving after she receives treatment.
