A meeting took place this week with members of the Chicken Farmers Association discussing about a possible trade war looming with counterpart associations in China. The issue has arisen regarding the export of chicken products from Thailand to the European and Japanese markets. According to the Thai association, Thailand is the leading chicken product exporters, and now they are being pressurized to lower production and allow Chinese chicken farmers more access into this lucrative worldwide business.
