Suspect Police Officer in Shooting Incident Suspended From Duty - Pattaya People

As the investigation goes on into the shooting incident at the residence of the Pattaya Police Superintendent’s residence, it was announced on Friday about the suspect gunman who fired at the window of the residence at the rear of the Police Station earlier this week.  Apparently, according to a witness the suspect is a Senior Sergeant Major, who in a state of drunkenness got angry with the new superintendent’s strict rules on work performance.  The 51 year old officer involved denies all charges against him and insisted he was on duty at Bali Hai and then took his family to the countryside at the time of the incident, before returning to work.  He has been temporarily suspended from duty and is currently helping forensics with their enquiries and his room which is located opposite the Superintendent’s quarters has been searched for evidence.
