Car Crashes into Fast Food Restaurant - Pattaya People

On Saturday the Pattaya Police received a report that a foreigner had lost control of his car and then crashed into McDonald’s restaurant on Sukhumvit Road, in Central Pattaya. The Police and volunteers then went to investigate. Upon arrival, Police found a HONDA City sedan and its driver, Mr. John David Buchley, aged 60, an English citizen. The car had collided with the cement wall of the building, and also damaged the rear of another vehicle, a Ford sedan. The driver seemed to be intoxicated. Witnesses said that the FORD car was waiting for a food order, when suddenly the sound of screeching breaks was heard, followed by a car crashing into the wall  and the rear of the Ford car. Fortunately no one was injured. A tow truck was called to remove the Honda, and the foreign driver was taken to the Police station for further interrogation.
