Disturbed Man on Electricity Pylon Incident - Pattaya People

Banglamung police were called by the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team in the early hours of Friday to deal with a man who had climbed an electricity pylon in Nongplalai and they believed he would jump.  At the scene, the team came across 32 year old Mr. Wijit who seemed to be going through an anxiety attack.  He was shouting and muttering to himself oblivious to all around.  After failing to get his attention police was given the phone number of the man’s girlfriend.     After 30 minutes the woman arrived and she talked him down from the pylon.  Police released him after he apologized and his girlfriend stated that he had a mental problem and was undergoing medical treatment at a local hospital.
