Coconut Husker Loses Four Fingers - Pattaya People

The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team was called for assistance with an emergency, at a factory in Nongplalai, when a male worker using a coconut husk removal machine accidently slid his hand into the machine, where it got painfully stuck.

When the rescuers arrived the scene, the people had already stopped the engine, and the man, Mr. Suchart Ratanasuntorn, aged 29 from Nakhonsawan province, had lost 4 fingers to the machine. The rescuers immediately gave first aid and took Suchart to Banglamung Hospital. No one at the factory were sure what had happened, as they only heard his screaming when the accident occurred.

Further investigations will be taken as soon as Suchart is able to make a full statement. His co-workers assume it was truly an accident, as Suchart never drank before work.
