Body of man discovered in field close to Pattaya

The body of a man was discovered in a field in Soi Huay Yai close to Highway 331 on Sunday. Police Colonel Somshai, Chief of Huay Yai Police was one of many officers who responded and examined the body of the man who was carrying no ID. He had been shot in his face, arms and right leg and was wearing a necklace suggesting he may have been a current or former student studying Engineering at the Kasetsart University which has a campus in nearby Sriracha District. A single 100 Baht note was found in his pocket and a cigarette stub was found and is currently being forensically tested. No other information is available at this time as Police attempt to discover a motive behind the apparent murder and exactly who the man is, which also remains a mystery for now.
