Hot Temper Ends with Suicide - Pattaya People

On Tuesday, the Sriracha Police were called by the Sawang Prateep Sriracha Rescue Team, regarding the death of a man, Mr. Santi Tapa, aged 36. He was found in a house owned by his wife’s grandparents in the Surasak Sub-district. At the scene, the body was discovered on the floor inside the house, with part of a telephone cable wrapped around his neck. Nearby was a chair, indicating that the man had hung himself using the chair as a ladder, but in the end, his body was too heavy to remain hanging from this phone cable, and fell to the floor.A suicide letter was uncovered, stating that he wished for his wife to find a better husband, who would not abuse her with a hot temper like he has. Santi’s wife Miss Jariya stated that Santi and her had a fight, as usual, and Santi threatened to kill her grandparents. She notified them to stay away from the house that day, but had no idea this incident would happen. Further investigations will be continued after the verification of death is given by Ao-u-dom Hospital.

Temper Tantrums at ATM Showdown - Pattaya People

In the early hours of Saturday morning the Sawang Boriboon Foundation radio center received a call from a distraught 71 year old Thai man, who claimed that his son had gone crazy.  Apparently, the son locked himself inside their home and began threatening to commit suicide by stabbing himself with a knife.   The rescue team together with volunteers went to the house in Pong, East Pattaya to investigate.   When they failed to negotiate with the 46 year old man, Choochart, who had already stabbed his throat, Banglamung police were called out.  They quickly broke into the room and took away the knife, and he was given first aid before being taken to the nearest hospital.  According to his family, the man has a history of mental and medical disorders.
