Young Woman Arrested for Pimping Underage Cousin - Pattaya People

On Saturday night, the Deputy Police Superintendent, Pol. Lt. Col Chusak Ketong from the Human Trade Suppression Department, received a report from a foreigner. A young woman had approached him while sitting on the Beach, relaxing in front of Central Festival Pattaya Beach Mall, who offered her 15-year-old cousin for sex. The police decided to set up a sting operation, by agreeing to buy the sex service for 4,500 baht. The meeting point was agreed to be at the front of Big C Extra, Central Pattaya.

The sting went as agreed, and a young woman, identified later as Miss Siriporn Puparn, aged 19 from Samut Prakarn province, showed up with a young girl, unexposed name, aged 15, who claimed to be Siriporn’s niece, for the sex trade. The money was handed over to the young woman pimp, then the police identified themselves for searching. The officers arrested Miss Siriporn with the 4,500 baht on her person.

Siriporn confessed to selling her cousin many times over 2 days, as Siriporn had been making her living in the same fashion before her young cousin followed her to Pattaya. This time, Siriporn was charged with Operating a Sex Trade Business using an underage female, and sent for legal proceedings.
